About the event
Walk Their Legacy
Boot Memorial Run • Walk • Roll
September 5, 2026 • Ford Island • Pearl Harbor, Hawaii
Twenty-five years after the start of the Global War on Terror, we gather to remember those who never came home. Join us at Pearl Harbor as we honor America's Fallen Heroes and ensure their sacrifice is never forgotten.
The Boot Memorial Run • Walk • Roll is more than a race or community event—it is a living tribute. Nearly 9,000 memorial boots will line the route across historic Ford Island, each representing a Service Member who gave their life in service to our Nation. Every step taken is an act of remembrance, carrying forward the legacy of those who served and sacrificed.
Founded by Military Spouse Theresa Johnson and powered entirely by volunteers, the Boot Memorial has grown into one of Hawaii's most meaningful military remembrance events.
