Boot Memorial Hero & Remembrance Run, Walk, or Roll 5K
On Saturday June 13th, "Boot Memorial Hero & Remembrance Run, Walk, or Roll 5K" will take place in Peru, IL. This event honors the 8,000+ service members who have died in the service of our country since September 11, 2001. This event is open to everyone military and non-military civilians.

About the event
Boot Memorial Hero & Remembrance Run is coming to Peru, IL on June 13, 2020 at 0700. We will kick off the event with a 5K run, walk or roll with boots being displayed along the route. Once the 5k is over, the Boots will be picked up and placed in a large viewing display.
This is a NO cost event and parking will be on site. Shirts will be available for purchase online and prior to the event. Design TBA.
We are looking to collect 4200 pairs of new or used Military Boots. They can be dropped off at St Bede or mailed ATTN:Tom McGunnigal.
Volunteers will be needed for boot prep Jun 2-13. Please check website & our Facebook for more details.
